This short-cycle programme teaches how to carry out accounting calculations and record economic activity, how to plan and manage the budget of a small or medium-sized enterprise, and how to organise revision and audit work, alongside skills in applied communication, presentation and business ethics. Because accounting regulations change frequently, the course also builds analytical thinking, so that graduates can correctly interpret and apply current laws and Cabinet regulations, together with the strategic thinking needed to anticipate a company's financial position some steps ahead. On completion, graduates can continue directly into the third year of the bachelor's-level International Financial Management programme, and career paths include working as an accountant across different industries, as a financial assistant to a director or finance project manager, as an owner or manager of a small or medium enterprise, or as an independent provider of accounting services.
