This master's programme trains finance and banking specialists in current financial-management theory and method, building a systematic grasp of macroeconomic forces and of financial management inside a single firm, plus the ability to pick apart developments in the financial system and in business. Coursework pairs core finance theory with optional subjects on topics such as macroeconomics, Europe's economic integration, communicating across cultures, and marketing strategy, taught through case work, problem-based examples and group presentations, and runs in Lithuanian or English with a double-degree option. Learning outcomes include weighing what classical and modern financial theories can and cannot explain as the macroeconomic picture shifts, reading global, European and domestic economic and business conditions to spot what is driving them, showing a grasp of financial markets and services under integration and globalisation, and using both classical and newer financial models and tools for complex strategic financial and investment calls. Students also build the habit of ongoing learning, adjust to cross-cultural settings, run independent research on real financial problems, and get ideas across clearly to expert and lay audiences alike.
