Overview
This two-year programme prepares economists, department managers and researchers with in-depth knowledge of international economic theory, aiming to build the ability to carry out independent scientific and applied research under limited information and implement organisational and economic strategies in national and international contexts. It runs two parallel tracks, one in fundamental economics, mathematics and econometric analysis and one in international business economic analysis, through subjects such as comparative economics, microeconomics and game theory, innovation economics, behavioural economics, the global economy, international business law, and green and sustainable economic development, alongside macroeconomic analysis leading to the thesis. Three further electives can be chosen from options such as personal finance, sustainable real estate, or artificial intelligence in management, and the programme offers a double-degree option. Teaching combines lectures, seminars, discussions, debates and individual and group research assignments, building skills to critically evaluate international economic processes and policies, develop original ideas in international economics, and communicate research conclusions to professional and academic audiences.
