This 1.5-year master's programme in religious education, run by a Faculty of Catholic Theology established with the Holy See, prepares specialists to work across education structures and apply new developments in youth and adult education theory and practice. The 56-ECTS study field covers biblical catechesis, pastoral management, the methodology of religious-education research, liturgical anthropology, psychological counselling in religious education, and the development of Christian vocation, completed with a 30-ECTS master's thesis.
Learning outcomes include conducting small-scale research in religious education, developing research-based religious-education projects, initiating informal religious education, and promoting lifelong learning among young people and adults. Elective courses cover catechetical methods and community models of family life education and counselling. Graduates are prepared for roles in evangelisation, ecclesiastical activity, representing Christian thought in society, and the teaching of religion through various missions within the Church.
