The Master of Education develops advanced expertise in curriculum development, educational leadership and learning assessment, aimed at educators who want to drive reform and shape more effective learning environments. The Faculty of Education delivers it face-to-face across a single academic year at MNQF Level 9, covering 120 credits through modules such as teaching and pedagogical perspectives and enquiry and research in education.
The total fee is MVR 65,000, billed at MVR 5,000 a month across the year. Admission expects a related bachelor's degree or graduate diploma at Level 8; without either, entry opens at 25 through a related Level 5 qualification with seven years of experience (3.5 after) or a related Level 6 qualification with six years of experience (3 after), each via an approved pre-master's program.

Admission Requirements: Admission requires a related bachelor's degree or a related graduate diploma at MNQF Level 8. Applicants lacking this can still enter from age 25 with a related Level 5 qualification plus seven years of relevant experience (at least 3.5 after that qualification) and an MQA-approved pre-master's program, or with a related Level 6 qualification plus six years of experience (at least three after) via the same pre-master's route.
