The Master of Teaching (Primary) develops specialised pedagogical skills for primary-level educators, using modelling, simulation and video study alongside modules on special and inclusive education and educational psychology. Graduates come away able to examine historical and contemporary issues in primary and middle-school education and to plan, implement and evaluate a range of teaching practices.
The Faculty of Education delivers the course face-to-face over a single academic year at MNQF Level 9 for 120 credits, with a total fee of MVR 71,370 billed at MVR 5,490 a month. Admission expects a related bachelor's degree or graduate diploma at Level 8; without either, entry opens at 25 through a related Level 5 qualification with seven years of experience (3.5 after) or a related Level 6 qualification with six years of experience (3 after), via an approved pre-master's program.
