BSc (Hons) Business Process Services

Billed as the first programme of its kind in the region, this honours degree responds to growing demand for skilled professionals in business process outsourcing and business process services. It suits both newcomers and people already working in the sector, building a recognised qualification alongside practical skills in running business operations, managing service delivery and improving processes, with a curriculum developed alongside industry specialists. Study opens with accounting, communication, Mauritian law and French for business in the first semester, moving into Six Sigma lean management, human resource management and capital markets by the second, then adds logistics, management accounting, organisational culture, project management and business finance in the second year. The programme suits anyone interested in business process design, management or innovation and aims to prepare graduates for a fast-moving global business environment. Study normally takes a minimum of 3 years and can extend up to 6 years for those progressing part time, with new students admitted in February and August. A scholarship recognising top-performing graduates is available through the university.
