Overview

This MSc at the University of Mauritius lets graduates build a base in data analysis and examine established and current areas of artificial intelligence and machine learning. It is delivered in a blended mode, combining face-to-face and online modules. The programme aims to give students a firm grasp of the central ideas of AI, familiarity with up-to-date tools and techniques, and the practical skills to design, construct and use AI systems through group and individual projects. Entry requires a first degree in Computing or a related area, and graduates of other STEM fields can be admitted provided they bring a year or more of relevant working experience in IT. Study takes at least one year full time or two years part time. The master's degree carries 76 credits, including a 24-credit final-year project.
