MA/MS in Water Resources and Ecosystem Health

This programme covers how water moves through the landscape and how that knowledge can be applied to the sustainable management of river basins, along with core biosphere concepts and interlinkages, including the part played by biodiversity, the hydrological cycle, and how these connect to ecosystem health and human wellbeing. Depending on the profile chosen, students study planning and management methods, environmental management policy processes, river basin development, the use of open-access data and software, simulation modelling, GIS and remote sensing, data analysis, and measuring and monitoring, applied within an interdisciplinary setting.
