MA/MS in Landscape Architecture and Planning

Landscape architecture and planning graduates from this programme learn to understand the challenges involved in shaping and creating the landscapes that form the everyday living environment. Coursework develops solutions for pressing landscape challenges, among them energy needs, climate change, food security, urbanisation, and health, drawing on the interaction between spatial planning and landscape architecture. The curriculum draws on both social and natural sciences, teaching students to translate that combined knowledge into ideas for transforming landscapes, and covers spatial problems at national, regional, and local scales, moving between these scales as the situation requires.
