BA/BS in Nursing

Nursing prepares students to deliver person-centred care, combining knowledge, practical skills and a professional attitude. From the first day students work in learning teams on case studies, and take courses in nursing techniques, communication skills, clinical reasoning and medical knowledge. They learn wound care and gain experience across the different fields of nursing through four periods in the first year. The four-year bachelor at hbo level can start in February or September and leads to a nursing qualification. Students can study a period abroad, for example in Finland, Spain or the United States, or join development cooperation projects through a minor. Graduates lead nursing care in complex situations and look for sustainable solutions.
