Overview

A work-related master in organisation and leadership for people in or aiming for leadership and administrative roles in the health and welfare sector or the education sector. Teaching is organised in gatherings of about five two-day sessions per semester, with lectures, case discussions, exercises, project seminars and written assignments. The programme carries 120 ECTS and is taken part-time at 50 percent, over four years. Two tracks are offered: health and welfare leadership and education leadership, with Bergen starting in 2026 and Haugesund and Førde in 2027. Applicants apply through SøknadsWeb.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Relevant bachelor's degree in a profession such as social work, child welfare, nursing, physiotherapy or teaching, plus two years of professional practice after the degree. Study codes: 3309 for health and welfare leadership, 3308 for education leadership. Last admission round: 37.89 points for health and welfare in Bergen (2024); all qualified applicants admitted to education leadership in Bergen (2024).
