BA/BS in Aeronautical Engineering

UDST's Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering is a four-year degree focused squarely on the systems that keep aircraft operating: their maintenance, monitoring and upkeep rather than flight operations themselves. The programme is designed with close links to the labour market, aiming to give graduates the specific knowledge and competencies that aviation employers in the region look for. Students study the design, manufacture, maintenance and repair of both civil and military aircraft, alongside the research and applied-study side of aeronautical work. The curriculum also brings in management topics such as economics, communication and engineering leadership, plus material drawn from computer science, electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering, reflecting how aeronautical work draws on several engineering disciplines at once.
