BA/BS in Nursing

University of Doha for Science and Technology's B.Sc. in Nursing sets students on the path toward entry-level work as registered nurses, equipping them to grow into clinical leaders and, later, nurse-scholars. Its curriculum is built to deliver culturally relevant, evidence-informed and person-centred care across the full continuum of care, equipping graduates to work within healthcare systems that are themselves changing quickly. Students can pursue optional strands in research, quality-assurance work, or entrepreneurial and technological innovation, and may also build added competence in a focused area of clinical practice. Learning is supported by a dedicated Nursing and Midwifery Experiential Center, featuring high-fidelity simulators, task trainers, a hands-on virtual-simulation setup, and a Standardized Patient initiative for practising clinical conversations, alongside direct clinical exposure that begins in the first year and continues through integrated practicums each semester. Graduates meet the academic requirements to apply for registered-nurse licensure and are positioned for both immediate practice and future graduate study in nursing.
