Master of Arts (Research) in Psychology

NTU's School of Social Sciences offers a research master's degree in psychology, full time or part time. The programme spans the social, developmental, clinical, cultural and biological branches of the discipline, and students can select among many research areas, from studies of infants to studies of older adults and from qualitative to neurobiological methods. Students are guided by faculty and research staff with expertise in their chosen topic. Examples of work include using neuropsychology to understand consumer behaviour and using mobile apps to gather data from elderly participants. The programme is subsidised by the Ministry of Education. Applicants need a bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field at Honours (Distinction) or second upper level. The GRE General test is required unless the applicant graduated in psychology from a Singapore autonomous university. Applicants should reach IELTS 7.0 or TOEFL iBT 105, unless exempt as a native English speaker or a graduate of an English-medium degree.
