Master of Engineering (Research) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering

EEE, NTU's electrical and electronic engineering school, offers a Master of Engineering by research for full-time and part-time candidates. Students are supervised by an appointed member of staff and hand in a thesis built on their research for examination. Beyond the thesis, candidates pass examinations worth 9 academic units, equal to three courses of three units each, and complete any further courses the school or university requires, which may include additional classes beyond the thesis work. Applicants can browse the research centres or the faculty directory to find staff whose interests match their own. There are two intakes each year, in August and January. Applicants from Singapore's autonomous universities are exempt from standardised test requirements, while those from overseas universities are assessed on their degree results.
