Master of Science in Computer Control & Automation

This master's degree is offered by NTU's electrical and electronic engineering school and gives practising engineers advanced, practical tools for developing, integrating and operating automation and control systems that run on computers. Students choose between coursework only and coursework combined with a dissertation. Each course is worth 3 Academic Units and includes 39 hours of lectures, while the dissertation option adds a 6 AU project and is recommended mainly to those with a strong interest in further research. The programme structure may change without prior notice. The school expects applicants to hold a good relevant bachelor's degree, and relevant working experience is seen as an advantage. The programme is offered in both full-time and part-time form, with an emphasis on practical tools that working engineers can take back to their organisations.
