Master of Science in Holistic Palliative Care (HoPE)

This part-time master's degree is offered by NTU's Lee Kong Chian medical school as the top level of a stackable training pathway for the palliative care workforce. Participants can progress from a Graduate Certificate to a FlexiMasters and then to the Master of Science, with several points at which they can step out and return. The curriculum is shaped around local and regional cultures and is built to suit working adults. Courses cover areas such as models of care and policy and implementation, and each course carries academic units that reflect the amount and depth of learning. Completed courses stack toward the next qualification, and a minimum GPA requirement of 2.5 applies along the pathway. The maximum candidature for the whole pathway is 7 years. The programme is aimed at healthcare workers such as nurses, therapists, pharmacists, social workers and administrators, as well as doctors and other health professionals meeting the entry criteria.
