Master of Science in Aviation

This coursework master's degree is run by the mechanical and aerospace engineering school at NTU for professionals working in or entering the aviation industry. The curriculum looks at developments ranging from electrically powered vertical-lift aircraft to additive manufacturing, with input from faculty and industry practitioners. Students may choose to complete a dissertation project in place of two courses. The school also awards a graduate scholarship to strong applicants to its master's programmes, and applicants are assessed on factors such as academic record, work experience, past achievements and awards in addition to each programme's own entry requirements. The programme can be taken full-time or part-time. Applications for the August 2027 intake open on 1 October 2026 and close on 31 March 2027. Shortlisted applicants may be invited to interview, and an application fee and an acceptance-of-offer deposit are payable.
