Overview
This undergraduate programme trains future physiotherapists to help people recover movement, ease pain and improve everyday functioning through tailored treatment, exercise and rehabilitation methods. It lasts three years across six semesters and carries 180 ECTS credits, leading to the title Bachelor of Applied Science.
Study blends foundations in anatomy, physiotherapy and general medicine plus a large amount of hands-on practice in clinical environments. The aim is a steady link between classroom learning and patient work, so that students develop clinical reasoning and are able to practise independently by the time they finish.
The degree is taught in English and delivered only in Maribor. It is a full-time, fee-paying course, with lectures beginning in October. Elective subjects, either within the professional field or from other accredited programmes with sufficiently similar content, allow students to steer part of their studies towards a particular interest.
