BA/BS in Microengineering

The Bachelor's programme in Microengineering combines mechanics, electronics, materials science and IT to build miniature systems. Microengineers work on the physical laws that govern miniaturisation and on production techniques that are both efficient and financially viable. Robotics serves as the page's main example, since robot operation relies on coordinating mechanical, electronic, optical and computing components. The discipline supports industrial sectors including production technology, biomedical science and robotics. The page presents a microengineering qualification as the basis for a varied, multidisciplinary career that draws on several fields at once.
