Overview
The Bachelor in law teaches legal reasoning through the main branches of Swiss law: private, public, criminal and social law. Courses are placed within historical, philosophical, international and comparative perspectives. Lectures are complemented by seminars, exercise sessions and small-group practical work. Several teachers come from legal practice, including lawyers, notaries and judges, and students can take a mobility period in the third year. The degree gives access to the Master's programmes in law offered at UNIL and at other universities.
