BA/BS in Droit

The bachelor in law trains students in legal reasoning and legal writing. It provides a foundation mainly in Swiss law with a clear orientation towards international law, and links law with social sciences, economics and philosophy. The first series, worth 60 credits, covers a general introduction to law, criminal law, constitutional law, family and personal law, legal history, Roman foundations of private law and the law of obligations. The second series, worth 120 credits, adds public international law, EU law, administrative law and fundamental rights, contract law, economics and law, and rhetoric. The programme runs for 3 years.
