The Construction Technology associate programme at Balıkesir Vocational School is a two-year, Turkish-taught programme in building construction and site management. It covers structures, mechanics, hydraulics, building materials, transport, geotechnics and construction site management, built on mathematics and physics. Students combine theory with applied practice and professional computer programmes. The programme runs a 3+1 model of vocational training in enterprises, in which students can train with a company in cooperation with industry from the fourth semester. The programme aims to produce applied, science-based technicians.
Graduates receive an associate degree and the title Technician for the construction sector.

Admission Requirements: Admission through the national YKS exam and ÖSYM central placement; score type TYT; 110 places; lowest placement score 303.2 (success rank 807,632). Students are placed by central examination results and high school grade point averages.
