Overview

The two-year associate degree programme in Accounting and Tax Applications, offered at Dörtyol Vocational School, trains qualified intermediate staff who can take responsibility in business accounting departments and in the accounting services of public institutions. Graduates may also set up their own practice after meeting the legal conditions. Students learn to understand accounting functions in business, ensure accurate and reliable accounting processes, and apply tax practice and changes. Learning outcomes align with the Turkish Higher Education Qualifications Framework and the European Qualifications Framework. The programme emphasises entrepreneurial and analytical thinking. Students complete an internship as part of the programme.

Admission Requirements: Central placement through ÖSYM TYT, score type TYT. 54 places; lowest placement score 298.2 (success rank 863,683). Lateral transfer from equivalent programmes is possible.

Application Details

Application Process: Turkish applicants list the programme among their choices (tercih) in ÖSYM's central placement after the YKS results each July; international applicants apply directly to the university's international student office under the YÖS quota, usually between May and August.
