The four-year Aerospace Engineering programme, which admitted its first students in 2020, trains engineers in the design, manufacture and maintenance of air vehicles. The first year covers general engineering courses such as mathematics, statics, dynamics, strength of materials, fluid mechanics and thermodynamics. Later courses add aerospace subjects including aerodynamics, flight mechanics, propulsion and aircraft structures. The programme aims to give students theoretical and practical knowledge for national and international aviation companies, along with teamwork and leadership skills. The profile links the programme to the national aircraft and defence industries' goals for designing and manufacturing new types of air vehicles. Teaching is in Turkish.
