It combines design principles with computer-based production to create two- and three-dimensional digital content. Students learn basic design, visual expression, computer-aided drawing, digital image processing and modelling.
Courses also cover materials and texture, lighting, rendering and animation. Students define design problems, select digital tools, develop alternatives and present their work in a portfolio. Creativity, technical accuracy, teamwork, professional ethics and copyright are emphasised.
