Overview

The two-year programme trains dialysis technicians who support follow-up and care before, during and after dialysis for people with acute and chronic kidney failure. Training covers basic health practice, human, health and disease concepts, and ethical decision-making. The programme admitted its first students in 2020-2021. Graduates earn the associate diploma and the title Sağlık Teknikeri (Diyaliz Teknikeri) and can work in dialysis units of public and private health institutions.

Admission Requirements: Admission through the national YKS exam with the TYT score type and ÖSYM central placement. 63 places; lowest placement score 336.5 (success rank 503,082).

Application Details

Application Process: Turkish applicants list the programme among their choices (tercih) in ÖSYM's central placement after the YKS results each July; international applicants apply directly to the university's international student office under the YÖS quota, usually between May and August.
