BA/BS in Security Science and Technology

The Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity prepares students to sit for several industry certifications by graduation, including ISC2, CompTIA and ISACA credentials alongside ethical hacking and penetration testing exams. Students can join meetings of the Berks Cyber Alliance, an industry group the university founded, to hear from federal agency and private-sector speakers and to network with technology leaders in the county. Research opportunities include work on AI-related crime and a robotic dog used as a mobile hacking station. The university works with government and private partners on its research projects. Career advising, internship access and job-search help come from the university's career office, while the financial services team walks applicants through FAFSA, payment plans and tuition deferment. The university is accredited by its regional accreditor, the Middle States Commission.
