Overview

The Intervention Specialist Mild-Moderate second licensure program is designed for licensed teachers who want to work with students who have mild to moderate disabilities in inclusive K-12 settings. It suits teachers who want to enter a growing area of need. All graduate classes are delivered online. Courses have no required on-site meetings, though some include live online sessions. The structure gives working professionals flexibility, and the program prepares them to communicate and collaborate with others involved in the education of students with disabilities in Ohio schools. The program is part of the College of Education. Students can review the overview, learning experiences and contact details on the program page before applying. The page includes an application link, and the Office of Admissions at the Gill Welcome Center answers questions from prospective students. Instruction is offered online.
