Overview
The BA in Art is a studio program for students who want visual arts training combined with substantial liberal arts study. It joins arts research with broad studio practice.
The curriculum offers introductory studio courses, a special topics seminar on research practices in the arts, and a choice of intermediate courses that lead to a senior capstone project. Students also take an art history elective, with a survey of non-Western art or a course carrying a global citizenship requirement recommended.
