MA/MS in Educational/Instructional Media Design

This master's program has been suspended since Fall 2024. It was designed to give learners deep understanding of how people of varied populations learn, along with assessment and evaluation of that learning. Students also built project management ability specific to instructional design and worked with instructional technology for eLearning, judging instructional media with attention to diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility. Its skills transfer to higher education, corporate and nonprofit training, and any workplace where staff or stakeholders need professional growth. The program ran through self support, funded fully by student fees in a cohort model, jointly by a CSUN college and The Tseng College. Applicants needed a four-year bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited school, good academic standing, and a minimum 2.5 GPA.
