PGCert in Business Administration, Management and Operations

This graduate certificate let people holding degrees outside business explore a career switch or advancement into management. It also offered a taste of MBA-level work without committing to the full degree, and it served as preparation for those who later chose the MBA. The certificate has been suspended since Fall 2022. The curriculum combined the college's MBA foundation courses, worth 15 units, with a capstone course. Subjects included financial accounting, business law, economics and managerial finance. Students progressed as a cohort, starting together and taking the same classes in sequence, so each course built on the previous one and participants formed a supportive network. An international version with intensive English preparation existed for students below the TOEFL minimum. The program was self-supported and run with The Tseng College.
