PGCert in Business Administration, Management and Operations

This graduate certificate gives professionals from any discipline a broad grounding in business practice. Students choose from a menu of courses, so they can shape the credential around their own career needs. Two concentrations are listed. The general business option covers foundational knowledge across six business areas of the student's choosing. The government contract management option combines required and elective courses for people working in public procurement. Courses are delivered in short eight-week sessions, in person or online. Courses completed with a grade of C or better can later count toward the Mason MBA or the MS in Management after admission to either degree. The certificate is administered by the graduate business program office, and students should check the unit website for federal financial aid eligibility.
