BA/BS in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology

Computational biology is an undergraduate major in the School of Computer Science that applies data science and artificial intelligence to biological systems and biomedical research. The program is described as unique to the university and trains students to work comfortably in both computing and biology, and to explain their work to colleagues in either field. Students prepare to tackle large problems in health and life science by decoding patterns in data from living organisms. Prospective students can use the program page to find contact details for the department, a link to start an application and information on curriculum and graduate outcomes. Questions about admission can be sent to the university admission office. The page also highlights what recent graduates did after finishing, including employment and further study.
