BA/BS in Physics

The physics major at Central Michigan University introduces students to how matter and energy behave, from thermal energy and quantum theory to astrophysics and advanced mathematics. Students can pursue either a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science. Coursework is paired with hands-on laboratory work in well-equipped facilities, and small faculty-to-student ratios allow close contact with professors. Students work beside faculty and peers who share an interest in the subject. Graduates are prepared for careers in physics, mathematics, engineering and computer science, and for further study. The program is delivered on campus.
