AA/AS in Computer Science

Century College's Computer Science offerings introduce students to the information systems that power modern technology, from robotics and artificial intelligence to augmented reality and connected devices. The Computer Science Transfer Pathway associate of science degree is designed for students continuing toward a four-year degree. Learners first build a broad conceptual foundation, which keeps career options open, whether toward software, databases, security, analytics or the cloud. Information systems are used in organizations of every size, so graduates can look for work in corporations, government agencies and small businesses alike. Short certificates in mobile and internet programming sit alongside the degrees. Courses are offered during the day, in the evening and online, and students may begin in the fall, spring or summer on a full-time or part-time schedule. Century is a public two-year community and technical college funded by the State of Minnesota, and eligible programs qualify for federal financial aid, with scholarships available through the college foundation.
