The Biology Transfer Pathway associate of science degree lets students finish a degree whose courses transfer directly into designated bachelor's programs in biology within the Minnesota State system. The curriculum was planned so a student can earn the associate degree at one state college and then continue at a university for the bachelor's. Transfer pathways can save time and money by reducing repeated coursework. Those wanting a more general route can combine biology courses with the liberal arts associate of arts degree, which carries a Minnesota Transfer Curriculum notation. Biology courses are scheduled in the daytime, evenings, on Saturdays and online. Students may study full time or part time and can start in the fall, the spring or the summer session. Century is a public two-year community and technical college funded by the State of Minnesota, and eligible programs qualify for federal financial aid, with scholarships available through the college foundation.
