MA/MS in Natural Sciences

The Master of Natural Sciences Education is an online degree for current and future science teachers. It refreshes and widens subject knowledge across the life, physical and environmental sciences while building teaching strategies. Students receive laboratory kits designed for individual courses, so experiments and projects can be carried out at home and then adapted for their own classrooms. The program suits teachers wanting new methods and those with a science background who plan to pursue teaching certification separately. Applicants should review the departmental expectations, speak with a program representative about assistantships and other funding, and begin the online application once they are ready. Detailed coursework and credit rules are kept in the university catalog, so questions about the plan of study are best sent to the department. Financial aid guidance is also available through the central aid office.
