BA/BS in Nutrition Sciences

Nutrition Science examines how diet affects physical performance, wellness and long-term health. Students draw on public health, physiology and several sciences and learn evidence-based ways to help people live healthier lives. Concentrations include dietetics and nutrition management, pre-health nutrition, pre-nursing, and sports nutrition and wellness. The dietetics option is an accredited didactic program leading toward registered dietitian credentials. The major is taught on campus in its health and human sciences college. Prospective students can join an admissions tour or information session, which are offered throughout the year, and a college recruiter can answer questions about the major.
