BA/BS in Communication Disorders Sciences and Services

Concordia University Wisconsin runs its Communication Sciences and Disorders major from the Speech-Language Pathology Department. Early study centers on how people develop across the lifespan and on the processes of speech, language, hearing and swallowing. Learning then moves into the community, where students serve and observe children and adults who experience communication difficulties. The ethical grounding and clinical exposure are meant to prepare graduates for a graduate degree in speech-language pathology, and a dual-degree pathway offers a direct route into that master's program. Applicants send official high school transcripts, plus college transcripts if relevant, and high school seniors may add an ACT score if they wish.
