MA/MS in Landscape Architecture

The Master of Landscape Architecture accommodates students regardless of earlier training in either landscape architecture or architecture, offering two routes to the degree. Each curriculum is tailored to the student's prior experience and goals. Historical, theoretical and technical foundations anchor the program, and the design studio is its core. The program follows requirements set by state education authorities, the licensing council and the landscape accreditation board. Students follow the structure and requirements published for this degree. The catalog entry outlines the curriculum, any accreditation and the policies that apply, and prospective students should read it alongside the admitting school's guidance before applying. Advisors help students plan their courses and keep to the expected timetable through to completion of the degree. Further details on the curriculum and expectations are published in the university catalog.
