BA/BS in Communication and Media Studies

This Bachelor of Arts lets students study communication and media across two or more related areas. It suits transfer students and others who are still deciding on a precise career direction. Graduates are prepared for work in public, private and nonprofit organizations, or for further academic and professional study. Courses may come from the other majors available within the college. The requirements combine a college core, liberal studies, major courses and a large block of open electives, which gives the degree considerable flexibility. The program is offered through DePaul University, and its catalog entry sets out the required courses, learning outcomes and application steps. Prospective students should review that page and speak with an advisor to plan how the degree fits their goals and prior coursework.
