This undergraduate degree develops the basic abilities needed for work in the arts and creative sectors. Practical studio projects strengthen technical skill, visual sense and conceptual thinking, and further courses address how artists work professionally. The program is deliberately adaptable. Students can pair art with another subject or complete requirements for professional schools, which opens routes to graduate study in therapy, law, commerce and counselling. Every student must complete a set of five foundation courses, worth fifteen credits, and achieve the required grade average within two attempts. A dropped course after the add and drop window counts as an attempt. The degree totals 120 credit hours. Students who finish the program leave with a portfolio-ready understanding of studio practice and a versatile set of skills that transfers to many creative and professional settings.
