AA/AS in Accounting and Related Services

Graduates of this Grayson program are trained for beginning jobs at accounting firms, small companies, manufacturers, banks, hospitals, schools, churches, and government offices. Accountants gather, analyze, process, and report financial information, and the coursework follows that practice. The Associate of Applied Science in Accounting totals 60 semester hours and ends with an accounting capstone course. A one-year certificate, a bookkeeping certificate, and an occupational skills award are offered as shorter options. Applicants must hold a secondary-school credential, and the associate degree also requires that TSI requirements be met.
