AA/AS in Architecture

Lee College offers a transfer-oriented associate pathway for students who want to begin studying architecture before moving to a university. Coursework centers on drawing, architectural graphics, and design studios, so learners practice both creative thinking and technical drafting habits. The degree plan is arranged over four semesters. It pairs introductory architecture courses with design and drawing classes, alongside the general education core in English, history, government, mathematics, and sciences. Students also take electives within the major. The page directs students to the transfer office and to partner university transfer maps, which help them match their Lee courses to a bachelor's program. Graduates can continue toward careers toward architecture or allied design careers, including industrial design. Course selection is best planned with an advisor, since transfer requirements differ between receiving universities and students benefit from matching their electives to the program they intend to join.
