AA/AS in Business/Commerce, General

Business Management develops planning, organizing and motivating skills. Students see the workings of a company and the ways managers handle practical problems. The degree prepares graduates for entry-level management jobs or for continued study at a university. Possible roles include retail manager, supervising operations, coordinating projects and owning a small business. Local general education requirements, such as social science, complete the program. The college posts a sample course sequence published for the current catalog cycle for this program. It shows one route through the requirements, but it is only a reference and not an official education plan. Students who want an individualized plan, and help choosing among the courses, should make an appointment with a Lemoore College counselor.
