Program details

Overview

This major gives Lewis students wide exposure to the arts and sciences. A student finishes the courses for two minors, which may be unrelated, for example art with chemistry, or closely linked, for example literature with history. Because the major is built from two minors, the number of credit hours in the major varies, and courses cannot be counted twice. Each department chair must consent to the pairing, and the dean of the humanities college approves the final plan. Students must take advanced courses in each minor on campus, and the major cannot be combined with another major.
