AA/AS in Computer Programming

This Associate in Science introduces students to programming, databases and how computers work. Learners practice building custom solutions to existing problems and follow new software and industry trends. Courses cover areas such as server administration and network security, and the program ends with a computer project that showcases the skills gained. Internships provide hands-on work experience, and counselors advise on transfer options. Before the first class, students meet with an academic counselor to build a Student Education Plan and to match the Computer Science: Information Technology program to their career or transfer goals.
