AA/AS in Computer and Information Sciences, General

The Computer Technology program leads to an Associate of Applied Business and focuses on practical technology skills for the workplace. Students study computer hardware, networking, programming, databases, network security and website development. Alongside the technical sequence, the curriculum builds skills in speaking, writing, logical reasoning, troubleshooting, ethics and time management. Required courses include accounting procedures and public speaking, plus mathematics and general education choices. The major requires at least 61 credit hours, so full-time students can plan for roughly a two-year path at the Lancaster campus.
